Monday night the planning board voted to permit construction of SCCA backed track on 600+ acres. There will be no spectator events, the track will be for clubs use only. Palmer is roughly halfway between Albany and Boston and the track will be minutes off the Mass Pike. And 15 minutes from home. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

News to me. Maybe great news for me. Not much on the NER or SCCA sites about it though. Looks like I'll be joining another car club. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

20 minutes from my house (or about 5 times closer than LimeRock).

Hey Ed, do you do any Driver's Ed events? I'd like to do one next year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Not much on the NER or SCCA sites about it though.

It will be on the NER site soon since NER-SCCA is the owner.
Awesome news! I can hardly wait. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I've done a few at LRP. I expect the CVR-PCA will book time at Palmer once it's open but like E-man I'll be looking at other clubs too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Ed, you guys are lucky to have a dedicated site for car events...SCCA/PCA is considering something similar for the SF bay area because we keep losing places to run....
