There used to be a chat room set up. It was used per board days. Just tryed the link and it's not working. When the server was changed over it probably didn't get moved.

We could always set up another one on MIRC

A chat room will potentially slowdown the amount of activity on the board. If it ain't broke....

Personally I like to be able to read at my leasure and not be actively involved.

Not until I switch this whole thing back over to W2K server. I like the chat room. Cheaper than a phone call.

The All914 chat room was the whole reason I moved towards a BBS. The chat room was a huge success.

Why change back?

There are a lot of very good, proven PHP chat solutions that are available for free or a nominal charge.

One could be up in no time.

The last one had "fun things" built into that was pretty cool.

I'll look at the .php based ones.

But.. we all know how well the PP one has gone over (NOT)

But from what I could tell, the traffic on the all914 chat dropped off to almost zilch after a while. It was fun when it was hopping, though.
