Hi Guys!
A couple of days ago, I got a stock CD box in the mail. I plugged it into the car, and fired it up. Because of the kids in my neighborhood, I did a slow drive around the block, and everything seemed okay. When I took the car to work yesterday, it seemed like everything went to hell: Hesitiation and the occasional backfire under load (uphill) or acceleration. Once I got to a cruising speed, it wasn't too bad. Certainly not perfect, but not horrible jerky experience of stomping on the throttle. This car purred like a kitten (albiet a VERY large kitten) before I bolted the Permatune in, and now it absolutely sucks ass. Could the "performance" Permatune damage some other component? I've checked everything I touched - and can find nothing amiss. Any ideas? -Rusty |
