If you watch the ad in slo-mo, there's a white 914 about 3 seconds in. It's the middle car of the five on the screen.

I DVR'd it and did the frrame by frame. White 914, then also in another view branching left in front of 930 & 935 (not sure about those, not a Porsche freak).

Commercial for the Panamera 4 door.

What does NARP do now that Porsche included the 914 as part of their Porsche heritage in a modern commercial?

The main commercial and first making of video above was directed and shot by one of the 914's biggest proponents: Jeff Zwart. The white 914-6 GT is the "Alfa Romeo" GT, currently living in SoCal. http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/factory_9146gt...1076_alfa_romeo

There is another 914 (a black one with what looks like 16x7s all around) in one of the ifc spots...

I DVR'd a 30 minute show on IFC last night (Thursday, October 15) titled "Welcome to the Family. It's all about people who drive Porsches and the cars that they have driven. Jerry Seinfeld is a prominent part of the show.

Looks like Porsche is making quite a marketing blitz!

Eric

Edit: I also noticed some serious 914 and 914-6 racing discussion, along with Boxster Spec racing by a young lady from Fullerton. Anybody know Regan Steedman? The family has a couple of 914s and the Boxster Spec.

I wonder if all of those race cars ran thru that hideous dust cloud, or if it was greenscreened. Could have been a TV ad for K&N at the same time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Boxster spec (POC) driver Regan used to run class CI 914, seen in this pic with my son Matt #790 at Willow Streets. She's a fantastic driver !

Saw that show, too. 914s figured prominently in the Regan Steedman segment.
