Does anybody carry the spark plugs for the 914 in a store? OReilly, AutoZone don't. I'm going with the B6ES or WR7CP+ from what I've read on the message board for 1976 2.0L Dual Webbers.
I can buy them online, but I just wanted them today to drive tomorrow. Thanks. |

Find and call the local independent import parts house in the area.

Good advice. Unfortently they are so far away from me and close early. Grr. Oh well, figures these issues pop up right when the weather turns nice to start driving the car.

Do you have Carquests in Houston area? I think they carry NGKs.

Good call - They don't have them, but will get them within an hour today. Appreciate it!

...WR7CP+ ... I really hope that's not the Bosch Platinum "Plus Four" plug. IMHO, those are steaming piles of (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) and are only suitable for hammer practice. Or target practice. Or the 'float test". They're the same as the regular awful cheap POS Bosch Platinums (the ones with the tiny speck of platinum in it) with a couple of extra electrodes tacked on. The basic plug is the same crap. W7CC are plenty good enough for your 914, if you use Bosch. --DD |
