Autoweek talking about the newest Porsche.....a mini SUV named the "Roxter" likley the first Porsche to be built under VW. In part the article said:
"Among the stark realities facing new Posrche boss Michael Macht is a proposal by VW chairman Martin Winterkorn to extend the existing Porsche line to include both a compact sport-utility vehicle and an entry-level sports car--the latter of which has been described as a spritual successor to the 914. Much has been made of a possible return of the 914 in the form of a Porsche version of the highly regarded VW Bluesport concept revealed at the Detroit auto show in January. But more recently, the sub-Cayenne SUV, dubbed the Roxter, has emerged as the more likely first Porsche to reach production under the direction of VW. The small SUV could reach the market as early as 2010 as a 2011 model."
Sounds like there is still a chance of a "914" in the future for Porsche....

The Toureg is not known for its quality. A mini Porsche SUV while it may sound off, is likely where most car companies are going thanks to state MPG standards.

I'd put my name down for a Porsche themed Blue Sport....
