I have a new Dansk muffler. Does it need to be stripped of the grey paint and re-painted with high temperature paint to minimize rusting? I am not sure if the grey paint on it is high temp paint or just a primer. thanks, JoeO

Dansk makes some very high quality product. I would assume a company like that would use a quality heat resistant paint. If you got it new I would just install it and use it.
