Hi Guys,

David Conklin - Midwest RGruppe here. At this point, we are trying to narrow down what weekend this will be. We wanted to do the third w-e of Feb, but now it is looking like it may be the fourth weekend because of some scheduling conflicts. Hopefully this will work with Dr. Mike.

Please note that the venue will be The Garaj....this is not the Taj Ma Garaj museum, but instead a small local shop. The shop is small, so we will be somewhat limited...I am thinking 10 guys are a comfortable #. ON the up-side, it is well lit, heated and we will have access to parts washers. I will speak to the owner, Yuri Rojas, and see if we cant order a stock of common parts such as syncros and sliders to have on hand that we can purchase from him in exchange for the use of his shop.

At this we have 4 committed, 2 probables and 1 maybe.

We will try to make this a social event as well. I will speak to Mr. Dixon to see if we can tour the Taj Ma Garaj one evening...perhaps on Friday.

More to come as we firm up the date.

Thanks

Lets see, we have the following numbers:

Bigkensteel
VAN914
Wayne1234
Mack9146
tdgray - spectator
BarberDave - Spectator
Jacob - (Spectator???)
kwales
Surfbus66
Cornpanzer gang - 7 possible
- 4 definites
- 2 probables
- 1 maybe

So as of today we have a total possible of 13 builders (if attendees are builders (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ), and 2 spectators = 15 people. Not bad (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you do the GARAJ

Sign us up for three attendees. If you do another city, I will have to let you know.
I can also get our local PCA newsletter to publish the event.

Give me as much time as possible and I will help any way I can.

Erik(GreatPumpkin), Myself and my friend Jen will all be there.

Duane, dont publish it yet. I need to check with Dave Conklin. I have not heard back from him just yet about possibly splitting this into 2 events based on his group of 7 and what they want to do.

Ah, that explains a lot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Him and his crew were the ones to approach me about coming up there. I think they wanted a personal session and I opened the flood gates. There is way more interest in OH than I though. Thus, I am waiting to hear back as I think we are blowing well past the 10 person limit and may have to either split this event in two or move the whole shooing match to Cinci where there is a new, big shop that can accommodate all of us at Village Porsche.

Evil one,

A builder. I gots two trannys and want one really good one. Hopefully they are good enough for that.

As per my use of attendee, I meant the broadest possible interpretation, ie: plain meaning. "Ordinary, simple English words whose meaning is clear and unquestionable, absent any indication that their use in a particular context changes their meaning, are construed to mean exactly what they say. Thus, "heating the resulting batter-coated dough to a temperature in the range of about 400oF to 850oF" required heating the dough, rather than the air inside an oven, to the specified temperature.)."(MPEP 2111.01 Plain Meaning [R-5])

If this happens at Porsche of the Village in Cinci, I'd like to go, just to meet some of the peeps from the Forum. Thankfully (for me, anyway), my trans is fine.

Please let me know where and when it works out. My schedule is a little hectic, but if at all possible I would attend, more than likely with my best friend. What is cost? And thank you for doing this in advance.

I will call my buddy, Dave Profit, the service manager at the Village to make sure they allow beer and flatulence in the shop.
