The corn has come down and we now have had a hard freeze and a little snow, The
Pheasant hunting up here is just starting to get good, i shall see.

My Irish Water Spaniel girls, Darla and Amber on a long cold unsuccessful Duck hunt a few weeks ago.

Worst Duck hunting season ever, i only shot two ducks the entire season. The fur
bearing animals took there toll on the nesting birds in the Spring ferreting
there nests for eggs. Thanks PETA for destroying the fur industry, putting trappers out
of work and upsetting the natural balance of nature........

seasons like that are tough on a guy and his dogs ...I didnt harvest any animals this year.First time in a very long time .but then again i was sorta baby setting my 16year old son and trying to teach him the ways of an outdoorsman...and i did see the best White Tail ive ever seen ,just a little to far out for a muzzle loader ...next year he`s mine
