Time to clean the garage!
901 "C" gear for 904 mainshaft. This is a great first gear for your high powered car. The original "A" (3.091 to 1) first gear is too low and a weak point in the transaxle, it is always recommended to eliminate 1st gear making your tranny a 4 speed. This gear makes a nice start off ratio (2.4 to 1) compared to the stock 2nd gear "F" (1.889) $200.00 A 904 mainshaft is required to use this gear this gear. (not included)

901 "H" gear, this is a popular gear for building a "tall ratio" tranny. The stock "ZD" gear is .71 to1 the "H" gear is a 3rd gear "turned around" to use in the 5th gear position giving a .59 to 1 ratio. This gives a higher top speed and lowers engine RPM's for quieter operation, better fuel mileage and less engine wear. Wow, I should write ad copy for J.C. Whitney! $325.00

Beautiful C&C billet aluminum intermediate plate for all 914 and magnesium case 911 transaxles. Tapped hole for the 914/6 throttle bellcrank. A great improvement in strength. $375.00

914 sideshift transaxle with "H" 5th gear. I built this tranny about 2200 miles ago to use in my own stock 73 2.0. It gave all the all the pluses (except fuel mileage ) in the above "H" gear description but my stock 2.0 engine just didn't have enough umph to pull the hills without downshifting. 37 years of 914 ownership and customer work and I still have much to learn. Stock 1st thru 4th ratios, Works perfectly, no noises, no leaks. $950.00 No core required.
Very reasonable transaxle repair and rebuilding from a shop with a real, but not idiot proof, warranty. Lots of good 914 parts!
