I picked up some DVD's which I found helpful on a Type IV rebuild from Jake.

It's a great overall video. It covers all the steps and is a great beginner video. It was shot by Bug Me Videos and is VHS quality.

If you're going to build a six use Wayne's book "How To Rebuild and Modify Porsche 911 Engines" I just finished using it to rebuild my 2.4. It is really a great book. I recommend the book because you can make notes in it and highlight things. That's kind of hard with a video.

I'm kind of a visual guy, if I had a DVD and a book that would go along with the video that would be super cool.
I thinking of shooting a complete how to on different area of the 914, and 911.
