"The Southern California All-Porsche Swap & Car Display will again be held on the day after the Los Angeles Liturature Meet on Sunday, March 7th at the Phoenix Club, 1340 South Sanderson, Anaheim, CA 92806, about a mile from the old Dunkel Brothers site. See http://www.thephoenixclub.com/ for details on this German American Club.

Again this year we’ll have indoor vendor displays in the "Fest Halle" with 11,500 feet under one roof! Outdoors, we have room for more vendors, swappers and large grass soccer field for car corrals. The Early 911S Registry, 912 Registry, 356 Club and PCA will have special parking and club tents onsite.

This event will take us back to a simpler time in a very unique setting; to a time when the Internet was not your primary source for used Porsche parts; a time when the local Southern California Porsche owner's gathered each winter to swap, fender fondle, see old friends and appreciate the breed. There will be vendors dedicated to our Porsche hobby and plenty of swap space will be available. If you have a car for sale, bring it and put a sign and information sheet in the window and sell it.

Each car coming in for Porsche display parking will make a donation of $20. The gates open to the Porsche parking on the grounds of the Phoenix Club at 8 AM. We have over 400 onsite parking spaces for cars and seeing all the Porsche's parked there will again be incredible! The walk-in gate will be open at 8:30 AM and admission will be $10. Breakfast and lunch with a German flavor will be available from open to close. For those wanting to stay in the area of the Phoenix Club on Saturday night, we suggest the AYRES HOTEL ANAHEIM, 2550 E. Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92806 (714) 634-2106.

This year, we'll be raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Orange County. Pacific Porsche, Stoddard and several other vendors have donated thousands of dollars of raffle items and each chance will cost $5. The tickets will be available at the Porsche 356 Club tent, just outside of the "Fest Halle" on the day of the event. All proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Orange County.

Swappers will make a $40 donation per space taken and will be available on a first come, first served basis on the morning of March 7th. Vendor space has been sold out. Swapper and Vendors will be able to come in and begin set up at 6 AM.

So, we'll look forward to seeing you and your Porsche Sunday, March 7th, 2010. Bring whatever money you have left over from the Literature Meet, bring your Porsche friends, and join us for a celebration of Porsche! Breakfast will be available at 8 AM and by 11, the Phoenix Club will be serving lunch, so plan to spend the day soaking in the glory that is Porsche. Watch for updates and for information; contact Jeff Trask at NO911NV@aol.com or 949-697-4499 or Pete McNulty at pmcnulty98@aol.com or 949-400-9319. Let us know how you want to be involved!"

For those semi-familiar or not familiar with the Phoenix Club & that area, get yourselves on the 57 Freeway North or South bound towards Angel/Anaheim Stadium & the Pond/Honda Center (which are at the Katella & Orangewood exits) -

Phoenix Club is at the next exit NORTH of the Stadium/Pond at Ball Road (west) & Taft Street (east), take Taft/Ball exit & go EAST towards the Mountains & City of Orange (left coming south off the 57, right coming off of northbound exit), go to the first traffic signal at the auto mall on the right, turn right & follow that street way back where it bends right (past most of the car dealerships), & the Phoenix Club will be on the left side & well signed out front.
