Hi everyone, I've been a member since last spring and lurked quite a bit. Since I posted an ad in the classifieds I figured I should say hi to everyone.

My name is Lee, I live in ABQ New Mexico. I have a 74 914 Street/Track car I use for PCA DE's and Auto x's. it's a 2 liter car with carbs and mild supension work.

I actually have a performance shop here in ABQ with a chassis dyno, and my main focus is porsche performance, primarily early aircooled cars up to the 964.

Cheers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png) Do you know Liz and Nico from Rio Rancho? There are others there close to you also.

Ha, here's my second post so i guess i'm good for another year at least....

I've never met Liz and Nico but I have enjoyed their products a few times. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) We have a pretty decent 914 scene out here, mostly 4 cylinders but there are a few nice six converions running around. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I remember going to Albuquerque for a zone meeting. We then toured a shop down there where the guy did radical paint jobs on chopped 911's for racing.

Also, I believe Russ (?) was the local Pres. and he was quite the 914 racer.

Nice car.

E.

Hee's a couple 914 that I do work on being tuned. The black one has a carb'd mazda Miata Motor in it and the red one is a sixer conversion:

Russ has a very Badass 914 with a 3.6 i believe and he is an excellent driver.

What's the story with the wheels on the black 914? They look great. Are those 8" fuchs? What tire size? I presume the rear fenders are pulled?
