The fuel line on a 1975 914 from the large end of the fuel filter to the inlet side of the fuel pump, 1/2" or 12mm??? I am having a hard time finding 12mm. I can get 1/2" at a boating supply store. The auto parts only carry up to 3/8".

12mm. All the usual Porsche oriented suppliers have it. VW shops should have it in stock. It's not something you can find in most auto parts stores, despite the fact US automakers went mostly metric in the late '70s. Takes a while for the FLAPS to catch up ..............................
