NOS are hard to find and usually go for about $400. North Hollywood Speedometer will restore a tach for about $150.
They do nice work and it is hard to tell them from new. They also buy core tachs and speedos if you have any to turn on.

I agree, I had an nos tach at one point and it was no better than the one I had North Hollywoord Speedo clean up and actually I had them put a limiter the used one and it worked better (less bouncy) than the NOS tach. I do have an NOS speedometer mounted of course right next to my Hollywood Speedo tach that they refinished and you cannot tell the difference, plus they use glass not plastic for the lense when changed out..
