A friend sent me an email regarding this 914-6. The car was recently sold in South Carolina to a Calif. buyer. The new buyer is claiming it to be a real GT.

Gaglione would know. Do you know the serial number? That would tell all. The best this could be is a modified M-471 but these cars are so historic I cannot imagine anyone replacing the chrome bumpers and wheels with what is on the car now!

Did the 72 914/6s come with a moveable passenger seat? excellent observation. With that it would have to be a 72 and therefore european non export version. With all of the mods and the amber front lenses and the fact that only eight 72 gts were made, it is most probably a conversion |
