OK, so third time's the charm...but I'm hoping forth will be, as my buyer #3 didn't follow through. I would also do a trade - please see list at end.
1971 Porsche 914 1.7 runs great, clean & clear title with custom light-duty TOW RIG Needs bumpers, lenses, and other misc items to get back on the road. Windshield (like new) will be re-installed at my cost, with new clips and aluminum mouldings in good shape. Paint is nice but has a few poorly-touched-up areas that could be easily fixed, if you so choose. There is a small area of cracking on the rear deck lid, in between the spoiler mounting holes. Passenger window regulator needs adjustment/fixing. Floorpans are not original. Sale includes clean factory-upholstered seats & backpad, not the custom upholstery shown. On the passenger side, there's rust by the jacking pyramid and where the motor mount bar bolts up (shown in one of the photos). Tires are new. I can throw in an extra set of 5 identical wheels. Car is sold as she sits now, without missing items like bumpers, rockers, and lenses. The needed pieces can be easily obtained, especially considering that the car is stored at CAMP914 (I'm not affiliated with CAMP - just rent storage there - though as everyone here probably knows, Craig is a great guy to deal with). Car as it sits now in storage: http://marketquery.com/914forsale/as_she_sits_now/ Car as I bought it: http://marketquery.com/914forsale/when_bought/ My original plan was to build it out to be like my Minichamps scale model: http://marketquery.com/914forsale/914_Minichamps.jpg Since buying this car in late '08, I've gotten a 914-6, so that restoration takes priority. As much as I'd like to finish this car, it doesn't make sense for me to keep on paying $110/mo storage in the meantime.
