Hi, I am converting a 914 to a LS4 V8 on a budget (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) , any help would be appreciated.
1. Flywheel, Clutch, Pressure Plate from Kennedy
2. I have a rebuilt trans with "H" gear
3. 5.3L cable throttle body
4. Ls1 wiring harness / ECU for standard trans
5. How do I delete speed sensor hookup

Take Care
Bill

Better check the motor mount location on the Ls4 engine. I think all of these are for tranverse mount FWD cars.
The LH6 is the same engine but used in the trucks, but it has variable displacement and maybe a pain to work with.

All LS1 wiring harness are for the 24 tooth reluctor wheel. I think you will need one of the newer small computers and harness for the 54 tooth wheel.

The LS4 has the standard motor mount 3 bolt pattern in the sides of the block.
I was going to at the oil pickup/Pan design to look for differences.
The 06 impala only came with automatics, but it has a separate trans brain, but I don't know how they are functionally interconnected.
I have a 914 with 215V8 in I am considering swapping the LS4.
I payed $750 for the ls4 with 31K on it.
