Dave - send me too - I have that late OT Gauge to send you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Dave & Mark - I'm still on the hunt for the proper early "Kienzle" console clock for my early 73 2L resto, so if either of you have that early style clock, then I can send Dave my working "Quartz Zeit" clock (nice but not restored) - as that would be a match for the Late OT (thin red band) I have as an "extra".

IIRC - Mark - your clock is a Quartz Zeit - yes/no?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Otherwise, I need to hang on to the Quartz Zeit clock as a trade item for a Keinzle clock. I thought a guy who was a newbie or lurker on here who bought some gauges just before I could get to them, who was going to trade or sell me a Keinzle back in Dec., but he went silent!!?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Then all you'll need Dave is the voltmeter! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Cheers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Tom,
Clock is the late style. Send your clock NHS and tell them to screen the front without the Quartz Sietz. Easy job for them.

That's what I thought from our prior parts messages Mark.

Dave, I got your PM & Mark's is the late style clock, so I'll have to hold onto my other late style clock for awhile in case I need it to trade for an early style console clock. If I don't need it to trade in the long run, I'll pass it along to you for your charity work.

I'll try this week/weekend to dig that Oil Temp gauge out of my stuff & send it along. The guy from whom I bought it said it worked in his 914, but I've never had it hooked up to check it. If I recall, it's in pretty good cosmetic condition, but could probably benefit from your "magic"! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

PS - I know what you mean about mornings - I was working late until about 2:am, then awakened about 4:40 by a small earthquake this morning, so I'm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Come on folks - somebody out there has an extra voltmeter in your parts stash which you could part with to help Dave out with this console, so he can restore it & both help a Teener out who needs a nice center console with the gauges, while donating the proceeds to charity.

Mark Heard & I already donated a working/NHS restored clock & OT gauge respectively to the cause -

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) So get out there this weekend & find him one! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
