I took the faceplate off the dash along with the levers and I found that there are spots for light bulbs in all 4 corners, but only 3 of mine are being used. Is this normal on a '73 1.7L? I picked up an extra bulb and socket...so here's my question. Can I just add a wire to connect to the 4th socket off one of the existing sockets? Do I have to be concerned about using extra power? I think the bulbs are 2.5 watts, so it seems very minimal.
