I was restoring an early set of fogs and had a good laugh when I cracked one of the lights open. Inside, neatly folded, in one of the fogs was a flyer to a car show back in 1990. I couldn't see any reason why that would be inside there....the light had a good seal and everything was in tact--no loose parts. At first, I thought someone had put the flyer in to tighten up rattle or something, just didn't look like that was the case. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Maybe the DAPO thought they were time capsules - like cornerstones in buildings - & stuck it in there!? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

First, I've never used paper wads to dampen rattle.

Second, does it rattle without the paper?????

I saw a later model C4 Corvette with historic tags the other day. Man, I must be getting old.
