hi all, bought my first 914 a couple weeks ago. haven't seen any wheels like these. does anyone know what they are?

seen them on a lot of beetles, but can't for the life of me remember their nickname.

dunno, those look flat or concave, whereas turtles are convex... almost like a hubcap. also, the openings look more squared off...

dunno, those look flat or concave, whereas turtles are convex... almost like a hubcap. also, the openings look more squared off... you're right, hard to tell from the pic I took, but they are concave, definitely not turtlebacks. the car is all original, but the original owner did work at a vw dealer, so certainly could be vw wheels. I'll have to measure the offset. |

Great looking car and I dig the wheels, but I am betting they're beetle offset.
