it's installed on my "temporary" engine....I ended up taking off the sheetmetal and fan housing to give it a good cleaning.....motor looks good and seems to have very low miles on it..

I have run into two problems.....one was tons of oil at the cylinder and case mating surface for No. 1 cylinder........

second problem: head gaskets on 1-2 but not on 3-4...no cylinder shims on any of the cylinders........

sounds like someone dropped a valve on 3-4 and replaced the head with no gasket. You have had two compression ratios on the same engine!
