going to get rid of the headlight but need to leave the outer covers in place.
If I remove the motor, linkage, lamp, etc, any easy way to hold in place the outer door? thanks, dr |

I ran my car with the covers on but the lights removed for quite a while. You can fab some little brackets out of sheet metal. You'll be able to use the existing holes in the cover to attach to. And like Andy said, you can still use one of the linkage parts even after you take everything off. Paul |

Leave the pivots in place and fab. a bracket that replaces the bar from the popup motor to the headlight.
