How many 914s in the top 10 this time?
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
I am confident I will be in the top half (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Sorry to miss it. I will be down in San Diego National Tour AXing against Brit in his 914-6, a beasty BMW and a fast Subi.

I'm hoping one of us mid engine Porsche drivers can beat up on the BMW.

I'll be there. Andy, I hope you make it out there. I'd love to see that car of yours run again. Last time I got to see it was the shootout 2 years ago

thanks Randal, but son-in-law learned his lesson (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Funny that was exactly a year ago today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
all 4 wheeling is done only in perfect visibility at low speeds with the street trucks now....all the fun is on the ATVs or buggies...

Not much of a shoot out. More like me just trying to not be embarrassed too bad by the truly fast cars. I havent been within 2 seconds of the Subi yet and I hear the BMW is even faster.

We'll see... I think I miscalculated the time I have to play between the kids, camping, and keeping the wife happy... oh, and I'm reassembling my street car in the meantime...

the new tires are going to get a workout on that course...
Lots of abrupt direction changes, with slow exit speeds...
Course does not flow very well from what I see there...
not a low HP 914 friendly course (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

hope it turns out to be better in person, and also depends on actual final setup.

Chris, I will be interested in your comments about the tires after this event. This is the tire I am planning on using on my '75 when (if (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)) I get it streetable.

I try not to even think about "good course" or "bad course". If it's a safe course it's a good course in my opinion.

I'll also make sure to have the course well chalked before we start.

The 'flow' isn't my department, but making sure people can see the damn course is!
