There was a thread about heads were a few very interresting pictures were posted. Theese pictues showed heads cut in two and were showing the differences between 1.7 and 2.0 heads internal.

I think the pictures were not posted on the forum but there was a link to anotehr website.

After one hour search I cant find it ! ...

Found one picture in a post, but ther were more ... Do you know where they come from ?

These don't look like they are labeled correctly.
The left side looks like a 2.0L and the right looks like a 1.7L or 1.8L

1.7 did not have an air injection port into the exhaust as seen in the left side picture.
The exhaust outlet looks bigger on the left side compared to the right side.
And the spark plug angle on the right side looks like 1.7/1.8 not 2.0.

These are VW Bus heads NOT 914 heads. That's why they may be a bit confusing here. They were originally posted on a VW website

Nate, did you cut anything besides the 1.7 and 2.0Bus Squareport heads?

These types of pictures would be perfect for putting in Parts Vault entries for cylinder heads.
