For anyone local to the San Fernando Valley. These look like SS.

No affiliation, just passing along what looks like a GREAT deal.

Heads-up - FYI All Y'all - It says on the ad "mild steel not stainless" - which he may have added with folks asking if they were SS.

It also says stamped 2/72 & by the looks & that date, they'd be for the 1.7L - but if not holed they're still a good price for someone's DD 914/4 on a budget in the SoCal area! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Ugh! My excitement got the better of me! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Sorry for the false alarm everyone.

They sure do look stainless..

EDIT: I don't know folks... I'm looking at these pictures, and I believe that these are SS. I think the seller is referring to the pipes only as mild steel. I think the casing is SS!

They look SS but I have never seen SS ones with that type of flange for the exhaust studs at the heads on an SS box.

The "cans" appear to be stainless, not the actual pipes. Simple test ... magnet if anyone is interested.
