VPC & DPD offered by Porsche+Audi USA dealers, & AutoAtlanta's current "modern" option using R134 & more efficient components.

IIRC - the 914-8's for Porsche & Peich using the 908 motor may have had AC, and so may have some of the 916 prototypes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
... otherwise - never an AC option by the factory on a 914! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I don't have time right now to post the full info which I have on 914 AC units (from researching these as a possible late add to my 914), but the basics are at this topic at the Garage where I answered Dr. Roger's question about them ....

Hopefully it answers questions as a start! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

I'll do a better one here in O&H with more pix & info for the CW crowd, when I have the time (remind me with a PM, Pat if not done by June).
