1970 Porsche 914
This car was being built as an autocross/street/driver's education car New Parts All new wheel bearings and Delrin suspension bushings. New steel braided bake hoses and 19mm master cylinder. 5 lug conversion with 911 struts and rebuilt 'M' calipers up front and modified 5 lug hubs in the rear. 4 new 911 vented and cross-drilled rotors with ceramic brake pads. 5 - 6x15" Fuchs 5 spoke replica wheels (4 plus spare) with Porsche center caps. 4 new Falken 205/60/15 tires (already mounted and balanced). New front anti-sway bar and sport torsion bars. New sport springs in the rear. All new Koni yellow adjustable sport struts and shocks. New hell-hole repair panels. The Car This car came complete with everything except the original air cleaner. No rust in cabin including floors. No rust in front or rear trunks. No rust in the longs. No rust in doors. Body is completely straight but the left front inner fender show signs of previous damage. All glass is in good shape. Hell-hole has typical battery acid damage but I have the repair kit. The right side rear trunk hinge bracket is broken. There is a rust hole inside the front trunk where the main wiring harness comes through (I have a patch piece cut from another 914). Drip rails in front truck have some rust and small corner of the cowl has a small rust hole. Some PO put an antenna hole in the right quarter panel that needs to be patched. There are no other major dents or body damage. This car spent 25 years inside a garage. I have the original interior including the passenger foot rest but it will need reupholstering. I have the original 1.7L engine and tail shift transmission (it should run but I haven't heard it). I also have a 2.0L bottom end, the heads and cylinders were no good. Includes a side-shift transmission with correct linkage and engine mounting bar. Has clean Virginia title. Pics and more detail in My Blog Looking for $3,000. I could deliver to Hershey this weekend if needed. |
