STAY AWAY FROM HYUNDAI I've owned one and really regret it. Also worked in the car industry for a short time. Hyundias are the least realiable.

Definalty consider Honda or Toyota.

I second that..... you might pay a few bucks more for a Honda or Toyota (Acura or Lexus).. but quite honestly.. they are probably the most "bang for your buck" on the road.

I would rather have a clean used Toyota than a new Korean anything...just my $.02

I think the key to happy 914 ownership, is to keep 1 or 2 other cars around as well. I can't imagine relying on one for daily transportation anymore.

Your definition of a "few bucks" must be $10,000 to $15,000 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To buy a Honda or Toyota that has all the same features that my Hyundai has, you'd need more than my definition of "a few bucks".....

Hyundai has come a long way...slam them if you want...I have no problem driving my mine and it's nice knowing that the money saved will stay in the bank instead of depreciating (IMG:style_emoticons/default/MDB2.gif)

I'm with you Chris on having more than one car....I wouldn't or couldn't drive a 914 every single day as much as I like them.............

Yah you are nuts man! I know how it feels to be without a 914! I'm lost without mine & see no purpose in life without it! I'm just rotting away without the extra headache that was my beautiful 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

No daily driver 914 for me either. Love 'em, but I don't think so.

Buy a 2-3 year old Honda or Toyota. 3 year lease returns are a screamin deal. They still run trouble free for another 10 years.

Well Kevin was serious I just PAYPALed him the money for the Malaga Red 75 and his Silver car. I like to think that I am helping keep his marriage together and the KIA company in business.
