Well, my car is gone but it was fun to have this last event with it. Ran great and felt good. Scott just needs to get in, warm it up, and haul ass. (Well, take the stuff out of the passenger seat first).

The RSA at the top of the sixth page is my brothers (Best friends brother but I consider him a brother). Just got it back from getting a new front end (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Looks sweet and you would never know it met the wall (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) .

Now to add cone marks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Thanks for the pics guys, sure looks as if the 914's had a good turn out. How many? Most I have seen at one gathering was a 9/14 Bremerton breakfast (9) a couple of years ago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Sorry Jon's car will be missing the gatherings here, but it still lives on.
That Porsche tractor is cool.

I think we had 13 for the drive over to the XXX, plus a 911.

A fun day for all of us.

I think we had the largest turn-out of any model of Porsche represented at the show.

When we moved on to the very large VW gathering at the state park all of a sudden we were the elite guys.

This was one of the nicest cars at either event. It is so well finished both inside and out, just a beautifu car! The interior is perfect with modern gauges replicating the originals, the work that was done is amazing.

I can't remember his name, he drove up from Kelso?

His name is Jerry, but I don't know the last name. Juergen would know, I think Jerry painted his LE.

Jerry came up for the 914 on 9/14. He does his own fabrication and paint, notice his reflection in the pict of his engine.

Jerry Mahoney, his alias is jmmotorsports and he painted my LE, did a great work and I can recommend him. He has another 914 which looks just as amazing.

Yeah, I think they knew we were there. Good point about the 914 representation. It truly was 914World.

That blue 911S Targa deserved the trophy IMO. Very special car. I was also impressed with the '53 Cabriolet. It had the patina of originality and the owner didn't seem to mind the drizzle. He never put the top up and even showed up over at the VW show.

Great meeting all you guys!! Look forward to the next event.

Ok, so I need 2 things that some of you seem to think I could find locally. I need a drivers side outside door handle and a seatbelt for the passenger.

Any help would be great!

Give me a call after 6pm later this week. That is when I am generally home and can look. I think I have one or both.

Nice pics guys. I was at the VW cruise with my Ghia but something failed in my charging system so I had to head home on my remaining battery power before the show in the park.

I saw that car (yellow with steel wheels I think) but did not recognize the owner(s). There were two people riding in it.

Not the one at the VW show, it was one parked on the street at the XXX. I didn't even think to get a closer look at, but I think Rich is correct, it's his old one. I know he sold it locally.

Nice 914.
