I am in the throws of repainting my old 59 single cab
but one of the challenges i have is finding door card material.
any thoughts or ideas from any of you who may have tackled such...
(the old material is a 5-6mm flexible pressboard)

The material-pressboard, is available at Home Depot. Super cheap, 1/4" should be close enough to 6mm. Lennie here just did his teener repair with something like that. Looks totally factory and new.

I did the exact same thing, same store on a 911 door panel a few years back. It was a spot on match and cheap!

Also check http://www.bustoration.com

Used to be www.oldvolks.com

I hadn't looked in a while but they now have entire truck only replacement corners AND the '58 and earlier truck only bumper.

Crap, more stuff to buy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)
