I know this is Waaay ot but I crossed paths with a retired guy that has lost interest in what he says is a very nice vw thing. He says there is no rust through anywhere. It's white and runs good. He has had the original 14 inch wheels powdercoated but it has chrome 15 inch wheels on it now I think. He says the chrome is speckling on the wheels. He started taking the handles off and other parts to have it repainted. He crawled under it to start removing the motor and decided he didn't want to spend the money so it's for sale. He says it has a working gas heater. He has a interest in antique tractors and hit and miss motors. Pm me if you want his phone number.
