Car is in the shop having some things done on it, mechanic calls me tonight an tells to stop by in the morning while the car is on the lift, hmmmm seems he wants me to take a good look at the jack support area. I have a good feeling of what I'm going to be looking at in the morning. Hoping it isn't to bad, mechanic said he didn't want to go poking around in there until I was there. I will be there and taking pictures. Almost finished with this car, time to tackle this then in the paint shop it goes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Just got back and turned out to be not as bad as I thought it was going to be.. Makes me very happy, I went through the whole area with an ice pick looking for problems the only problems we could find was around the jack hole support,, Hooraay. also got some pics of my yellow fog lights that I replaced for the driving lights.

Glad to hear it's not as bad as feared. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) It's amazing how your spirits rise and fall with good and bad news about these cars. I guess I'm just warped.

No Dave your not warped, I spent the night last night reading all I could about the process involved in the repair this crap. I was expecting the worse so I read everything I could about the process. Haven't taken the drivers side rocker off yet, but if it looks like this on this side, it will be the same or maybe worse on the other. Hoping for the best, I already ordered the parts to replace these, got em for both sides. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
