Is there a difference between the center tray and pad of a non CENTER CONSOLE car vs one that had a center console. The reason I ask is because i have a console to put in but have seen 2 or 3 differnt trays and 3 different cushions/pad thingy's on EBAY. which one is right for my car? I don't know for sure but my '74 with no console had a plastic change tray between the seats.

I'm installing a console with the padded flip top unit now.

The ones with the third seat option are made of wood with a hing and the others are plastic. I wouldn't sit on the plastic ones. My 74 2.0 came with the wood/hinge type.

The 9146 uses a plastic tray that doesnt have the forward separator like the typical 914 tray has. Typical 4cyl tray has two compartments. The 6 has one big one.
