Hi Guys!
The clutch cable is hanging loose clear of the arm it attaches to, after a sudden let go. Did I loose a throw out bearing or bend and arm? Clutch cable appears not to be broken underneath the car. Any ideas. Car is bone stock! 88k orig. miles. HELP!!! Thanks Gene |

If the cable is hanging loose, then chances are it snapped. Have someone step on the clutch pedal while you look under the car and see if the cable moves.

Is it possible the clip that secures the cable to the pulley housing has broken? It's a special washer with a long tab that folds into the hole in the housing, and keeps the cable from coming off.
