Busted. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Yup, it's from La Carrera, the modern version, not the original blood sport.

Last July Pikes Peak, in my clubs "vintage" class a really fun car, partial interior, pretty true to the day really good driver: So - do you mean that the `62+/- Falcon having a "partial interior" was "pretty true to the day" !!?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) IIRC - everything ~ EVERYTHING ~ was "optional equipment" on them, right down to heat & rubber floor mats, let alone a radio or something! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That's a '63 1/2 and the fastback models were typically optioned out. Ford used that platform and the comparable Mercury Comets as a test bed for the 260/289 small blocks and put together a remarkable record for endurance and reliability. Great pic, really gives a sensation of speed. |

its a nice car door panels, a dash... lots of interior for a race car that is fast and competetive.... Does it race in the historical class? Nope. It races in A sedan against all of the big bores and trans-am's camaros, corvettes, shelbys, cuda's, javelins.... all of the big ground pounders. |
