Here's an update of last thread on air injection ports. Bought 3/8" plumbing caps just like you said " Tom", and put locktight on tubes to caps. Found 2 tubes stripped, same bank. Soooo JB Weld tubes to heads, just like you said "markb". Started up engine, no flames to report, and my carbs aren't screaming but idle @ 900-1000rpm now. Yeah, those carbs were back-firing B-4, quiet now. Sure got spanked on this one, but thanks to members w/ their inputs, this is another engine problem the shop won't be billing me for. Now all I have to do is address the oil leaks from sitting so long...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Thanks
