Amazing!!

There's been some serious response to this post, and it looks like I (a lowly newbie) have stumbled onto something good here...lol.

Thanks again to Mark for taking on this project, and because of it, it looks like there will be lots of upgraded door locks in the 914 Community soon!

Cheers,
Ken

PS: here's my '71 that I have owned 30 years now....this post all started last week when I needed to repair the drivers side door lock mechanism & give it a good lubrication 'cause it was getting so sticky.

I just installed in my door handles, two in the car and two in the extra handles and none of them had the O.E. seals. They fit perfectly and work great! Another great product from 914Rubber. You the man Mark!!

I'll take a pair at full price along with some other stuff as soon as the front trunk seals are ready. Fall is just around the corner.

Hi Mark, I'll take a pair too please.....also do you sell the other plastic part in the door handle, I don't know the name of it, but its in the first picture on page 1 at the start of this thread....its the black plastic part that always breaks and some shops sold them but are kind of pricey, I have seen them in white or black....do you know the part I am talking about?

I think the name of the other part I was talking about is called a "door handle insert", that would be nice to see those parts for sale on your site....

.....and one request...

Its not plastic or injection molding...but I would love to see a bolt on kit for a 914 to fit some kind of fire extinquisher on the floor or some place where it is close and easy to get at but not in the way... maybe under the seat so it can still be adjusted...

I know this thread is about a different topic but just wanted to mention that, its a part I was looking for.
