Ok
I have noticed that my car has been having issues ranging from no idle to no power. I have changed the fuel filter, cap& rotor. new hoses. I have adjusted everything I could adjust I even tried new parts. My car died on Saturday on a busy highway and would not start. It appeared to be a bad case of vapor-lock, so I let it cool down. several hours later it still wouldn't start. Checking spark: got shocked so must be spark. Fuel check: yep got gas to manifolds HMM confused. I decide I better double check the points, sure enough they aren't moving at all. I adjust them on the fly and BAM the car fires right up and runs great with lots of Power. I'd chalk this up as a learning experience, except I keep making this same mistake. 2 yrs ago points cost me a 300.00 tow bill. (LONG STORY) |
