Hi guys,
I guess we are quick to complain about folks, but rarely do we say
thanks for out standing help.
Living in Australia we do not have AA/Pelican etc. so we rely on a small group
of teeners to help each other out, or evil bay australia.
Recently I needed some steering wheel parts, and 914sixer(Mark) offered to
help. All he asked for was postage $20, when I recieved the parts the
postage was indeed $20, but he packaged and wrapped it, dropped it off
at the Post office etc etc, this transaction cost HIM money.
Thanks Mate, next time your in Australia dinner is on me.
cheers
John

I like stories like this one. It expresses why and how we belong to the 914 group. It is more than money value since people are involved in all aspects of ownership These stories are what I try to remember what the 914 is all about, not the pettiness of some activities.

Thanks for sharing and reminding why I have a 914, tuff914!!

Thanks, 914sixer (Mark) for going the extra mile in providing service and parts!!

I drove down to Marks house the other day to get some parts. He tried to give them to me. He has sent me parts just for the price of shipping also. He has always helped as much as he can on my project and he is very knowledgeable on porsche stuff.

Thanks Mark you are a good guy.
