I am 61 and my son is 22. Looks like I am not the oldest and he is not the youngest 914 teener here.

Somebody has got to be in their teens.

I sold some part to a guy recently who is 85 with a 914 and he wanted the parts gauranted until he was 92. He is the oldest 914 owner I know.

It is great to see the appeal they have over many generations.

I have been 28 for 28 years.......My first 914 was a cherry little 1970 which I bought in 1976. I have had 7 of them so far and still have 6 of them....my love for these little relics runs deep. I am glad I took a turn from the British cars I had before........MG's and Triumph's

I'm 62. I was 29 in 1977 when I bought my first, a '72. I've had 3, picking up the latest (last) one in 1983, a '76.

At this point, I can't imagine being without a 914, jack stands and all!

Interesting to see that like other special interest cars (especially Porsches) 914 ownership isn't a demographic at all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I'll be 55 in September.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

I was 72 ,on the 26 of June. My 914 is in the garage , NOT on jack stands ready

to go anywhere! The driver however isn't. I will probbly get to take it only to Garold

Schaffer's cook out swap this year. Thats a damn shame. The mind is willing but

the body isn't. Owned it since Oct. 2000, and many many dollars ago. It looks

like this will be the last yr.,family wants me to pass it on to someone younger

who will be able to enjoy it. Not looking forward to that at all. Oh yea the 914

is rust free, I'm Not. Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

My teener was made in the same month/year I was, April 1974. That makes it 36.

Well I was 19 when I got my 911, 26 when I got my 914.
Started with Beetles at 16, so I've never had a car my age.

25 here. Bought the 914 4 years ago to go racin.... After 3 years of trying to get the car off the jack-stands and out to the race track, I gave up and bought a Miata. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
...j/k This is my first full season in the 914.... and it's broken down right now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
