Tom,
Nice interior (nicer than mine!). I have the tan corduroy inserts on my seats. Unfortunately my COA doesn't say anything about that. I'm not real happy with my COA, other than geting my engine number confirmed as original. I also had to track down parts thanks to DAPO. I scored a beautiful center console out of a really thrashed 914 in a yard in Witchita Falls, TX about 13 years ago. It was a VW yard, and the owner hated the 914, since nobody ever bought parts from it. I got the console for 10 or 15 bucks! Scored the steering wheel the same way, from a place in Phoenix who only wanted to deal with 911s, but had a couple old parts 914s out back. My car has been like a scavenger hunt (2.0 rims, console, steering wheel, original-style Balupunkt, tan backpad and uncut door panels, luggage rack, etc)!

Brent, that's an outstanding deal - needless to say I payed more & I'm still looking for a Keinzle clock!

Don't do the luggage rack - waste of time with 2 trunks & adds 4 holes for potential future rust problems IMHO!

You may have to keep asking them to look at the actual Kardex & read to you whether it says "#31 Beige leatherette/basketweave" or "#32 Beige leatherette/courdoroy" & then to send you a corrected COA (at no charge to fix it). Call PCNA & ask for Kristin Rochford & explain the problem, & see if she'll check it for you - or email her at: coa@porsche.us

I had to go round & round when she & her mgr. insisted that #31 was black #11, so I had to go to the Customer Service GM to get him to correct after 3 tries. PM or email me if you get to the point where you need his name & email/phone.

This is the codes for 72 MY, but 73 is the same & this is what I sent their boss to get it fixed. -

You can do that on yours too Brent, by turning the adjustment nuts on the a-arm torsion bar ends. 1/2" - 1" lower doesn't negatively affect the steering & suspension, but makes a big diff in better handling. You just need to be careful on ramps, driveways, etc. - esp. with a spoiler.

Some white 914's "in service" -

... FYI this one is actually orange in the color ad version, but looks white in the black & white version above, perhaps intentially washed out to look like white or a light color anyway.
