I have 2 new rocker panels, and the valances need to be blasted and all 4 items powdercoated.
I also have the steering cover plate, an older set of valve covers to be done. I want satin black powdercoating, but I am very new to Anaheim Hills. Anyone know someone in Orange or Anaheim? Fullerton? Someone? Anyone? I am ready to this week for treatment! Thanks! John |

I got a NOS front valance that I had powder coated in satin black that turned out beautifully. The shop was in valencia. The NOS valance comes in primer that was blasted before it was coated. At the same time I had the front valnce for my 911 done. But those have a rubberized undercoating that would not blast off. The top coat blasted off, but not the rubber, so that piece was just painted. You'll probably have the same problem with your rack cover.

Actually, I already stripped the rack cover both sides by hand. It is bare metal, but Valencia is 100 miles from me in OC.
I was hoping for someone closer. List is growing 2 rockers 2 valances steering rack cover both sides curved air blower s's pipes and small covers 2 valve covers I will just have to look in the yellow pages. No referrals yet. Thanks! J |

Andrews Powder Coating in Chatsworth. May be a little far, but they are very very good with Porsche parts and you dont want to entrust your Porsche parts to just any lock schlock powder shop.

I have used Olympic Power Coaters in Santa Ana. Very nice clean operation. You can find them on the web....Andrews in Chatsworth I've heard is also a good place but I've never used them.

Second for Olympic. I have done Harley frames, quad frames, bicycle parts, and assorted other things there. All of them have come out exactly as asked.
My valences will be going there for a texture black soon. |

Thank you all as usual. Hey Ed, how is the rust abatement going on your car in the worlds prettiest SoCal garage? John Hey John... Well, I just removed the engine over the weekend on my quest to find more rust but to doesn't look all that bad. I guess it's just the typical rust in the typical areas. My biggest challange is keeping the garage nice and clean. When it comes to welding time I'll need to move the car out into the driveway. Thanks for asking! Ed |
