For you guys that have taken a ride in my car, feel free to chime in how it runs, etc. Its way fast!

Including:
Complete EZ30R engine (fully dynoed) (206 whp)
Renegade hybrids cradle
Adaptpr plates, clutch, etc
Full boxster quiet exhaust with custom headers.
Transmission (all new syncros)
Cable shift
Link Computer FULLY programmed
Renegade hybrids radiator.
All cooling lines.
Intake for engine all the way to air filter..

Basically this is a drop in and DRIVE solution. I drive it once a week for my gym or starbucks runs. I am about to do some major bodywork to my car, and do a real install for the a/c system, etc. So Engine has to be out again, and etc.etc.....

I have been here, so no biggie getting there again. Plus extra money will make me able to afford some bodywork etc if i dont do it myself.

i believe he is running 901 trans.

this set up is what? $7k to $10k to replicate, minus labor/time/skills.

especially if engine had been inspected/refreshed at all.

I would love to buy a package deal like that. It would be a relief from a lot of the trial and error things. I guess it would all boil down to the price, and if someone had that kind of money.

I think realistically your looking at 5k as a sell point.

Lets see here.

Engine: 1500
Cradle: 150 (Not sure about this one)
Adapter plates/Clutch: 750
Exhaust: 500
Rebuilt Trani: 600
Cable shift: 150
Link Computer: ???
Renegade Radiator kit: 600-750
Radiator lines: 75
Intake: 75

These are fair market sell values as I as a consumer would buy it.

It is kinda hard to judge the market value of this package. Post it in the classifieds for what you have into it, then lower it 10% or so per week (if you can wait a couple months for a buyer).

The ez30r basically new 5k mile engine alone is worth $4k. Try to find me one with that mileage for cheaper. Thanks guys. I am sure there is someone out there that would love to have a no brainer conversion. Just plug and play no guesswork, etc. eBay here I come. It cost me way over 11k to build plus time, etc.etc.etc.

No offense or anything, but to realistically get 50% out of a car project really is not that bad (and labor don't count, because labor is almost always a lost cost). Even with the engine being worth $4k on the normal market, the rest of the parts are really 914 specific. I think $8k might be a good starting point in all honesty.

You asked 914 owners what they thought, we answered. Don't get offended at that. Yes, I am indeed looking for a Subie set up, but you won't see me cough up 11 grand all at once on it. I won't have that kind of play money until next week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Perhaps you will find someone that will (I hope you do...more money is good), but it won't be me.

The problem is your'e looking to find a "914 owner" who is willing to spend some serious cash for a conversion motor...maybe a 911 owner or 356, but not a 914 owner. Don't take offense, but that's the reality of doing a conversion. I hope you find the right person who has a lot of "disposable income." I have no doubt your setup is worth the money, especially with all the time you've invested sorting it all out.
It will be interesting to follow your auction.

Oh no. I didn't get mad at all. I appreciate the feedback. I was just stating how much I spent, I never thought for a second I would get what I put into it. I never do. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) for me, it's all enjoyment.

I like hearing everyones opinions. since I have done all 3 subie conversions with the wrx water inter cooled being the most extreme. Still the current is my favorite, even with the slight horsepower rob of the boxster muffler. Power with quietness can't be undervalued. Ez30r is my only engine from now on. Even if my next one might be a 3.6 version next time......stilll working with link ecu on that one.

Which adaptor plate did you end up using? If you decide to split it up, let me know, I would be interested in some of the items.
