I tried searching for ECU repair posts, but these stupid search engines don't like three-letter word searches.

I'm looking for someone that can diagnose, repair, service the 914 ECU. I might be willing to try it myself if correct schematics are available, but would rather hand it off to someone familiar with them.

Might be easier to find a working one that matches your exact serial number.

There were a lot of versions, and even within the same model year, in some cases.

Typically, they will show up on eBay, but again, it is vital that you know exactly what your part number is.

I found an exact match and bought it for 35 bucks, but that doesn't happen all that often.

There may be matches to be found at Auto Atlanta, or that Porsche used parts place in Chicago. There is another parts place in VA too.

Performance Products carries rebuilt ones. I'm sure some of the other vendors do too.

Brad Anders has schematics for the 039 ECU on his site...

I have torn apart quite a few different d-jet ECUs to source parts for megasquirt conversions and i kept all the internals, so if you need specific components let me know. That being said, I did not see a lot of components in there that seemed likely to burn out, are you sure the problem is with your ECU?

Used ECU's are pretty cheap to come by, a better solution might be just to replace it.

What makes you think that yours is bad? We always have rebuilt ones on the shelf but do not sell that many. We are currently cad plating a bunch of the cases for concours prettiness but the ecus themselves are in great working shape!!!!!

I echo this!....I can count on both hand's, how many times I've seen this!

Cap'n - while not often, they do need rebuilt occasionally.

I had mine replaced once in it's 10 years as my DD/only car 75-85 + 72-75 with PO/OO (once in +/- 172k mi total). Mine was rebuilt in about 78 by BRET then in El Segundo CA IIRC (actually cored-out), which is now owned by Fuel Injection Corp. in Livermoore CA (or somewhere in SF Bay area).

Actually Tod - I don't think PP has them, but Pelican has the source to BRET/FIC to rebuild them.

Gerard - just go to Peli's 914 parts section under EFI & ECUs & you'll see it, then pick the one matching your 914 MY, engine & EFI system. Also as noted, George has them at AA too - your choice! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Me gustaría saber si Alguien dispone del diagrama de la ECU DELCO ECM-101 , o en su defecto el datasheet del C.I 16204891 que esta dentro de esta ECu y controla el cuadro de inyectores.

That's not for any DELCO ECU, though. I don't know where you'd find schematics for one--possibly people on a GM forum would know? I think that GM and Delco are closely aligned.

Delco became Delphi in 1999. Perhaps search for Delphi ECM 101?
