Does anyone have an active Carfax subscription and can run a report? 2009 Prius, VIN=JTDKB20U693494698. (Seems especially suspicious since it has just 822 reported miles).

Thanks,

After using carfax for many cars, and seeing many known wrecks have clear forms, I find carfax to be useless. The only way anything seems to pop up on car fax is if an insurance claim is made and it is taken to a repair shop under a claim number.

car fax is not too expensive and certainly worth the few $$ for a large purchase...

Turns out to be a moot point. We bought a new Jetta SportWagen TDI instead. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
