Porsche 914 type IV 1.7L engine complete Price: 750.00
Complete 1973 Porsche 914 1.7L running and still in the car. Includes fan to clutch and aircleaner through heat exchangers.

You can drive the car and check the engine unlike the others listed here and on Craigslist that have been sitting in the corner for years. This engine has a Weber downdraft carb and Bosch points distributor that replaced the problematic and sometimes flammable fuel injection. Mechanically needs nothing, but I would suggest you change out the front and rear seals, pushrod seals and valve cover gaskets before putting in your 914, bug or bus. Good preventative measure......

Selling as I am taking the engine out to do an engine swap (V8) $750

Side shift transaxle also available for an additional $200 (smooth shifting, but looks like it is leaking oil......dirty)

Houston, TX
