My friend's '71 914 is missing the folding e-brake handle. I have an extra (non-folding) handle out of my '74 which I would like to give him.

Is the later '74 handle a bolt-in to the '71? If not, can it be easily adapted?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Rob

Yes it fits. I just put a non-folding handbrake on my 71 and it works fine. Even the warning light switch works.
