Yesterday, I was in the garage working on a 74 I am planning on selling. I took one the Scheel seats I had had for years and tried to fit it in the 914. Much to my horror, I found the seats that I have been holding on to all these years are NOT 914 seats. The Scheel seats have the wrong back angle and are too wide to fit the back wall cushion. When I bought them, they had 911 tracks on them but I never gave it a thought. You can not tell by looking from the side that they are different than the 914 version. Only when you try to put them in do you find that they are about 3-4 inches too wide on each side and the recline angle is off. Needless to say I will be selling these off.
